Game reserves

Kenton is surrounded by beautiful big 5 game reserves, book your self a day trip or be adventurous and explore our “poor mans” game drive where if you lucky you will see some of our local wildlife and birdlife.

Two navigable rivers with pristine estuaries

You are spoilt for choice with the Bushmans and Kariega Rivers either side of Kenton on Sea. Take a leisurely cruise up the river and explore our birdlife.  Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the sunset. 

Some of South Africa’s most beautiful beaches

Beaches are what we are known for here in Kenton… Some stretch on for kilometers and you can spend many hours exploring our rock pools and caves. Take a walk to Shelly Bay and then have a dip in the warm water, you won’t be disappointed.

Water adventure

Snorkelling, fishing, canoeing, kite surfing and skiing are of the many activities you can enjoy in our waters.  River or sea – the choice is yours!

Adventure and explorations

Enjoy an adrenalin filled horse trail through beach and bush or explore one of our many hiking trails through Woody Cape and the Frontier country.  You can also rent a mountain bike and explore the area.

Take a walk through the main street of Kenton and visit all our different restaurants, coffee shops and artisan food stores.  You’ll also be spoilt for choice with the many spas and clothing stores – take the afternoon, browse and spoil yourself.
